| This is the "ready" position. The master link which is attached to the dunker board is held by the gate latch. The gate latch is held in place by the steel rod inserted through the hole in the gate latch. The spring pulls the gate latch open when the rod pulls out of the gate latch. The rod pulls out of the gate latch through the rotation of the ABS pipe target. You can set the target to pull the rod rotating in either a clockwise or counterclockwise direction...but only one direction per use. Ours is only set up to rotate clockwise so you have to stand on the dock and throw at the target towards the end of the dock. |
